Back to the grind

We had a great weekend over the 4th of July. We went to the lake up in Alexandria with our boys, a co-worker, his wife, and their nine month old son. We took the boat out on the lake for a few hours one of the days and had a couple camp fires (s'mores of course!)


It was a long week at work. I haven't been feeling myself all week. I ended up calling in sick one day and slept pretty much all afternoon. I am finding that since my tubal ligation my "fun week" of the month has been a lot more painful :( I didn't realize there were side effects of that type of surgery. Maybe I should have done a little more research!


I quit Weight Watchers a couple months ago. I figured I had learned how to eat following the program without actually following the program so, why pay the money? I have been doing really well not eating crap at work and what-not but have not lost anymore weight. As a matter of fact I have gained somewhere between 5-10lbs back. Ugh! When I followed the WW program I was very conscious of only eating bad once a week... I find that I am doing it a lot more often! So, I decided to get back to counting points. I am not going to rejoin the meetings but am going to give it an honest at-home try.

I am also planning to start the Couch to 5k program. I will have to let you know how it goes. I am not going to start that until I am feeling better. I am  hoping that is soon!!! We want to bring the boys to the zoo tomorrow and to the lake Tuesday so hoping I feel much, much better tomorrow morning! Will keep you posted on the weight status!!
